A proposal for a Transit Oriented Development that respects the fabric and desires of the neighborhood while seizing the opportunity to build much needed housing and services on a vastly underutilized site.

Featured in this design is a reconfigured BART station, an underground parking garage to replace a percentage of the existing surface parking, a quick service grocery store for commuters, a Montessori School (relocated from just a few blocks away), affordable housing of medium to low density, a bridging of a gap in the current Ohlone Greenway, and a reimagined Birdland community jazz club.

More project details and renderings coming soon. In the meantime, you can view an earlier iteration of this design here.

Modeled in SketchUp Pro, rendered in Lumion.
